Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (FFXIV) is relaunched version of the fourteenth installment of the Final Fantasy series. Players enter the land of Hydaelyn to adventure in the regions of Eorzea, and can switch between four distinct classes and 18 sub-specializations by equipping different weapons. FFXIV also features a new engine, improved server structures, revamped gameplay, interface, and a new story. The game released to largely positive reception as reviewers praised the game for its solid mechanics and progression while also commending Yoshida for turning the project around.
