Team Secret and Virtus.pro qualifies for Kiev Major

Team Secret and Virtus.pro qualifies for Kiev Major

Virtus.pro has claimed a ticket to the Kiev Major with a 9-0 record, displaying dominant form during the qualifying round and also the fastest route to the finals, despite its victory going full three game length.

Joining VP will be Team Secret, the recent addition to qualify for the Kiev Major. Valve has also announced the eight teams that have received a direct invite to the Dota 2 Kiev Major – The International 6 champions Wings Gaming, Newbee, Team VG.J, Ad Finem, Team Liquid, OG, Evil Geniuses and Digital Chaos. These teams were selected based on their outstanding performance at major LAN events and Boston Major 2016.

The open qualifiers for the Kiev Major are on-going and will end on March 9th, with the regional qualifiers then taking place between March 10th and 14th.
