Millennial Esports is opening its eSports arena at Neonopolis Mall in Las Vegas this week. The grand opening is scheduled this Friday, March 3rd, and the venue will play host for the North American Halo World Championship Qualifier.

The 3-day Halo event with a prize money of $50,000 is the last qualifier event before the upcoming Halo World Championship Finals that will take place in spring.

“Las Vegas needs to consistently reinvent itself to remain relevant to the up-and-coming generation,” said CEO of Fifth Street Gaming and a member of the board of directors of Millennial Esports, Seth Schorr. “We’ve always come up with ways to maintain our position as the entertainment capital of the world.”

Later in the month, EA is hosting a sanctioned Madden NFL 17 tournament at Millennial Esports Arena from March 25th till March 26th.
