Dota 2 Patch 6.87 & The International 2016

Dota 2 teams around the globe are competing in the regional qualifiers from April 29th – May 2nd for a place in The International 2016 this winter. The Manila Major Qualifiers and Chinese Open Qualifiers will be hosted by ESL while Faceit will play host for the Americas, Southeast Asia and Europe Open Qualifiers.

The International 2016

Qualified teams will go all out for the coveted Aegis of Champions and millions of dollars in cash prizes are at stake at the Seattle’s KeyArena. Only one team will be crowned world champions and make history in Dota 2 halls of fame. The event is set to run for 6 consecutive days from August 8th until 13th.

The International Dota 2 Championship tickets are currently available for purchase.

Dota 2 patch 6.87 gameplay updates:

  • Ranked All Pick revamped.
  • Minimap UI now comes with Scan ability.
  • New items.
  • Balance adjustments made to heroes, environments and skills.

There are plenty of changes and additions to the patch 6.87. The patch is not implemented yet and players are encouraged to try out the new changes on the test client before the patch goes live.
